UNA at The Alkaff Mansion

I like that it is quiet on a weekday that we went. Only lunch courses were served so we couldn’t try what we wanted to. Visually the food looks nice but taste wise, it fell below expectations. The medium beef was way too chewy and not the kind that would melt in your mouth so we didn’t quite enjoy the beef..Vegan dish was not good. Veg were bland and noodles not nice too…overall I just enjoyed the peace and ambience.

The food was amazingly good! The white asparagus were fresh, crunchy and oh so yummy. The squid ink paella was tasty. The olives, oh, the olives, especially the large ones...ooh.. can I have more?! The house pour was awesome! The grilled octopus was amazing! And Kai, good o Kai, who served us. He was super friendly and made us feel so comfortable over dinner. The desert he recommended was a surprise, and it was good!

I had an exceptional dining experience at UNA at Alkaff Mansion. The Spanish cuisine surpassed my expectations, making it a memorable evening. The highlight for me was the delectable Seafood Paella; each bite was a burst of flavors, and the combination of fresh seafood was impeccable. The Lamb Rack was another standout dish, perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. The ambiance at Alkaff Mansion adds to the overall charm of the evening. The elegant setting complements the delightful culinary journey, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff's attentiveness and knowledge of the menu enhanced the dining experience, making me feel well taken care of. UNA at Alkaff Mansion truly captures the essence of Spanish cuisine with its diverse menu and attention to detail. The culinary expertise is evident in every dish, and the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients is commendable. Whether you're a fan of Spanish cuisine or looking for a unique dining experience, UNA at Alkaff Mansion is a must-visit. I left with a satisfied palate and a desire to return for more culinary delights.

My girlfriend and I celebrated our 2nd anniversary here and we were glad to have it at UNA. Everything from the food, to the service and the atmosphere was top notch. We were hosted by Seraj and Brandon for the night and they were ever so prompt and attentive throughout our entire dinner. We had the Coca De Higos Y Foie Con Vermouth and the Vieras A La Plancha Con Sobrasada Iberica as starters, the Paella De Chorizo Y Habitas to share and Churrors el Classico for dessert. Both starters were cooked to perfection and we especially liked the chorizo topped scallops which had a good balance of saltiness. The small sized paella was perfect for the two of us and the chorizo used was not too salty and had a perfectly minced texture. When it came to ordering our dessert, we were throughly impressed by Brandon’s psychic abilities. He brought out the churros and an anniversary cake almost immediately after placing our order, almost as if he knew we were ordering the churros. It was a lovely evening spent with my girlfriend at UNA and I’m really impressed with how attentive yet discrete the wait staff were even though we requested for an intimate seating in the restaurant. I will most definitely return here to dine again and I highly recommend Seraj and Brandon as your hosts if anyone dines there. Keep up the good work!
